Chapter 15 THE JANUARY TERM began, and we all knuckled down to our schoolwork. Norm and I worked what hours we could, and Zeb and Zeke, of course, scheduled as many work hours as their classes would allow. They cut a deal with George and Mike to buy George’s truck, and all of a sudden, we were a three-car family—which came in handy at times. I experienced several milestones that spring: I was offered, and accepted, a job teaching at Florida State College at Jacksonville.
