Mr. Lee Long has been bothering by what he heard earlier from Boris. The names of the servants he was looking for cannot be seen in the logbook. He even thought that those persons were dead. Or maybe, they just went out of the mansion without his consent, or without seeing them get out personally.
However, if those assumptions were correct. None of these were true. The gate cannot be open without his permission. The gate must be locked at all times. And the only person who can go in and out of the mansion is the young master. But, of course, he must open it beforehand. No one, or anyone cannot easily get out of the gate without securing a key, or signed the logbook first.
