“We have to go to the courts,” Grace, my lawyer says after I reveal to her that Henry didn’t plan on signing the divorce papers. With everything going on, I really wanted to get the divorce over with so I can move on with my life without Henry.
“I figured,” I sighed and she drummed her fingers on her desk before looking into one of her drawers.
“You don’t need his signature, Cooper, this isn’t the 80s. However his refusal to participate will definitely make things a little difficult.”
She pulled out a stack of papers and looked through them as I sat quietly.
“Which is why you’re lucky to have me. Speaking from my own experience, I hate men, and I’ll do whatever it takes to get you out of the grip of this one.”
