Chapter 21

Gina parked her car in the garage and got out of it. She took out her purse and laptop from the passenger seat and locked up the car. She started walking over to her main door.

"Good day ma'am and welcome back." The security man said, and she just nodded and faked a smile before she continued with her walk to the main door.

The security man could also tell something was wrong with her. Aside from the fact that she came home super early that day which was his first evidence that something was amiss but her eyes were still red like some that had been crying. He knew that the smile she had given to him was fake and not a real smile. She was just trying to hide her feelings with a smile but that was not something he could ask her about. He knows Gina to be a very nice person and she deserves good things but he could feel her sadness and hurt. He wished he could go and cheer her up but that's not possible because he was only a security man and he has his own limit so he doesn't want to cross it but he really feels her pain.

Gina was now in her main door and she wasn't now trying to open the door. Her mind wasn't still there but far away making it hard for her to open the door. She couldn't even see clearly because her tears had covered her clear vision and now she was struggling to open the door. Meanwhile the security man has been watching her from afar and he has seen her battling with the door. Again that was another sign for him that all was not well with her but then what can he do? But even though he couldn't do anything about her mood he can at least help her to do what she was battling with. He said to himself and started walking towards Gina who was still standing by her door and walked still finding it hard to open the door.

"Ma'am please let me help you with that." He said, immediately he got to where she was standing.

"Ok, here you go." Gina quickly handed the keys over to him and he happily took it and opened the door immediately.

Gina thanked him and took back the keys from him before walking into the sitting room. She locked back the door behind her as she proceeded to her room immediately. She quickly dropped the keys in her study table, alongside her purse and laptop before proceeding into her bathroom. She needed a cold bath right now. It might help her presence. She went into her bathroom and quickly took off her clothes as she mixed a cold soapy water into her bathtub and got in. She was actually tired of crying but she really couldn't stop herself. She got into the bathtub and sat down. Her tears threatened to flow down her eyes again. She just sighed and allowed it to flow but the coldness of the water helped her relax.

Soon she was out of the bathtub and she was feeling much better now. All her thoughts were now on hold and she felt happy and relieved about it. She proceeded into her room with a towel tied around her chest. She untied the towel and used it in drying her body before she went towards her closet. She took her clothes and got dressed before climbing into her bed. She shut her eyes and immediately slept.

Dave was seen in the sitting room with a wine which he was drinking. He had planned to tell his father about the vacation that Gina had talked about immediately he got home but when he finally got home his father wasn't in so he just grabbed a wine and sat in the sitting room drinking as he waited patiently for his father to return. Soon his father walked into the sitting room and he smiled immediately, greeting him. "Father, welcome back." He said,

"Yes son,did anything happen back there?" His father asked,as he had his seat on the couch opposite him.

"Yes father, it seems she was actually lonely and was looking for some company." Dave smiled.

"Oh ok,so I guess you have both made up now?" He asked.

"Yes dad but there is something else." Dave said, drawing his father's attention.

"Go ahead son,tell me what is wrong?" He asked.

"The thing is father, she said would like us to go for a vacation, and don't you think I should go away from here right now?" Dave asked.

"You can go with her and actually that's brilliant and this is the opportunity we have been waiting for." He smiled.

"Dad, what do you mean by that? I don't understand you." Dave said,

"I mean this is exactly what we have been waiting for and this is the best time to finally get rid of her." He replied, with a wild smile on his face.

"Dad I'm actually still confused here, I don't understand what you are talking about." Dave said,

"Well this trip is a good one, in the sense that we can finally eliminate her there and make it look like an accident." He explained.

"Wow that's true, I think it's perfect and I now understand you clearly." Dave smiled.

"Yes son, this is the moment we have been waiting for,so just make good use of it and finish her up once and for all." He said,

"Yes dad, I will do just that." Dave replied.

"Better, I know you won't fail me." He said,

"I will never do that dad, trust me." Dave boasted.

"Yes son I know that, so when are you people planning to go now?" He asked.

"Well dad she hasn't really mentioned it but I'm sure it will be very soon." Dave replied.

"Ok, I guess you should be with her more often now and I will get everyone prepared too." He said,
