She got to her car and flipped open the door before getting in. She drove out in a hurry but went over to the fancy restaurant Dave had taken her to before instead of the nearby ones she had planned to go before. She went into the restaurant and quickly placed an order for a food pack. She waited for a while and the food was brought to her. She quickly took it and paid the waitress before leaving their restaurant. She went back to her car and drove off.

Soon she was in her company. She packed her car and walked into the building with her purse and the food she had bought. She headed straight to her office and got into the office. She had her seat and took up the food and quickly opened it as she started eating immediately. She was finally done eating after a while and she opened the can of water and zipped it down her throat immediately before dumping the empty can beside her. She sighed and resumed working on the files.

She walked on the files for more hours until it was their closing hour. She took up every of her belongings and also the files as she left her office. She went back to her car and got into it and left the company compound immediately. She drove into her compound and went straight in. She dropped the files on her table in the sitting room and proceeded into her room. She was actually going to take her bath and then make herself dinner before she thinks of continuing with the files. She was actually happy that the workload left in the files wasn't much and she would have time to do some other things before returning back to complete it. She sighed and went straight into her room. She dropped her purse in the nightstand drawer and proceeded into her bathroom.

After bathing she walked back into the room and got dressed before walking over to her kitchen. She took out all she would need to make herself dinner and was about to start cooking when her mind went off to Dave. She hasn't really seen him since today and she knows for sure how he was always stalking her. So she couldn't help but wonder what has actually kept him so busy since morning that he hasn't even come around to see her. Or that he was angry that they didn't go on the trip again after he had packed up or what? She thought.

"But he doesn't sound angry over why we were talking earlier so what could be wrong?" She asked no one in particular and sighed as she started cooking her food. She would definitely call him up later once she was done cooking and she wouldn't hesitate to ask him why he hadn't come around that day and also let him know she misses him.

Meanwhile Dave was bitter about the fact that they didn't go on the trip again that day. He was really excited that morning thinking he was close to achieve his plans and now she just spoiled everything for her. He wasn't really happy at all, he was actually tired of having to pretend before he but now he has to continue with his pretend. He was still so angry that was why he didn't bother going to see her in her office at noon. But he wasn't even going to go to her house tonight because he doesn't feel like seeing her. It's was best if he even remain house all night without heading out for a while. Since noon he hasn't told his father about the trip that was postponed because he hasn't been around. His father has been on a mission since morning to take out some werewolf pack. If he has known that the trip would be postponed then he would have gone with his father and the other rogues to take out the pack they have gone out to attack. He loves war too just like his father and he also enjoyed seeing them win over the pack and tearing the pack members apart. Watching that scene makes him happy but now Gina has deprived him of that Joy of seeing people hurt.

Dave was actually sitting on a couch in his room and he had been waiting patiently for his father to return home. So he could at least hear the beautiful story he has missed all because of Gina. He remains seated in his room while still hoping for his father to arrive anytime. Just then his nose caught the scent of his father and a smile found its way into his face immediately. He quickly stood up from the chair he was seated before and quickly started walking out of his room. He opened the door and went over to the sitting room. Immediately he entered the sitting room, he saw his father and his rogues seated on the couch and they were all filled with smiles as they all had a bottle of wine in their hands which they were using to celebrate the moment.

"Dad, how was it?" Dave asked, with all smiles walking closer to them.

"Son, are you still home? don't tell me you didn't go to the airport? or don't you know how serious this mission is?" His father asked his series of questions without allowing him to answer one first.

"Father, please one question at a time." Dave said,

"Ok but just answer me, you can start with any one you choose to answer first." He told him.

"Well father, she actually postponed the trip to tomorrow,with the excuse that one investor brought a file to her office and she can't skip it for anything." Dave told him.

"Oh,is that so?" He asked.

"Yes father, and I have been so angry since she told me that nonsense, that's why I didn't bother going to see her today." Dave said,
