Chapter 30

Dave opened the wine he had taken from the bar earlier and opened it and poured some content into a glass. He zipped it down his throat and poured more into the glass as he remains there waiting patiently for his father. Soon his father walked into the sitting room and saw him seated there with a bottle of wine on the table close to him. "Son, you are back already?" His father asked.

"Yes father, I'm back." Dave replied.

"You are quite early though, it's actually fine though,so how did she finally decide that you guys are going?" He asked.

"Well dad, she said, tomorrow but she didn't really tell me the actual time that we are leaving." Dave answered.

"And why didn't you ask her when you are both leaving?" He asked.

"I totally forgot about that but anyways there is still enough time to do that, I can't ask her tomorrow morning." Dave told him.

"No, just call her up immediately and ask her, we need to be prepared for her." He said,

"Hmm," Dave exhaled. "Ok father I will do just that." Dave sighed, and took out his cell phone from his pants pocket. His father was really a pain in the ass and he can't help it. He started screwing on his contact list until he finally saw her number and stopped and dialled it right in front of his father.

"Hi baby, I guess you are home now." Gina spoke from the other side.

"Yes baby, I'm home now, and I actually called to ask what time are we going tomorrow?" Dave said,

"I will book the flight in the morning,so I guess we will be leaving by noon." Gina replied.

"Ok baby, good night and sweet dreams." Dave said,

"Yes, good night,see you tomorrow." She replied.

"Yes you too, bye." Dave said, and disengaged the call.

Dave sighed and turned to his father. "So have you heard it now?" He asked. He had actually put the call on a loudspeaker so his father could hear their conversation.

"Yes son, I heard everything she said," he answered.

"Ok,so father can you tell me what I want to hear now?" Dave asked

"And what is that that you want to hear?" He asked.

"Tell me everything about the mission you went to this morning please, I really want to know every single detail." Dave said,

"Ok, I will tell you now." His father said, and cleared his throat before he started narrating all what had happened back there at the pack they had gone to attack.

Meanwhile all through the narration Dave listened attentively with smiles all over him as he also sipped some content from the wine in front of him as he happily listened to his father. After his father finished his narration Dave smiled and told him he had really missed that exciting scene all because of a woman. He wished he could just turn back the hands of time and go with his father to the mission. But nevertheless he would soon get rid of Gina and then he would have all the time to go to any mission that his father was going. He wasn't going to ever miss any mission ever again and he just couldn't wait to finally get Gina out of his way for good. Dave remained in the sitting room with his father for a while as they both talked about other random things and also about other packs that they were still planning to attack once Dave had finally returned from the trip he was going on tomorrow. And all of that made Dave excited that he just couldn't wait to finally return from the trip.

So they continued talking until it was almost midnight. Dave's father quickly told him that they should both retire to bed because they were going to have a long day tomorrow. Dave nodded and they both stood up from the different couch they were seated on. Actually Dave has already finished the bottle of wine he took earlier from the bar while he was waiting for his father in the sitting room. He got up too and took up the glass and empty bottle. He went straight to the kitchen while his father went over to his room. He washed the glass and dumped the empty bottle into the trash can in the kitchen before walking out of the kitchen with the glass. He returned it back into the bar and made his way to his room. He sighed and quickly turned on his bedside lamp and moved back to the wall in his room as he turned off the lights before returning back to his bedside. He quickly climbed Into his bed and relaxed back on it as he shut his eyes to sleep. Just then sleep took him off.

Soon it was finally morning and Gina was already up. She quickly went into her bathroom to prepare. She was going to go to her office for a while and do any little work she had left. She was actually done with the files that one of her investors had brought for her. So she knows she doesn't have much work to do anymore. She would go to her office and hand it over to one of her staff to go and submit it in the firm. So got dressed and went straight to her kitchen she started making herself breakfast immediately.

After a while she was finally done cooking so she dished out the food and took it to the dining room where she sat and ate it before returning back to her kitchen to wash off the dishes. She went back into her room and took up all she needed and left her house. She got into her car and drove off immediately. She finally arrived at her office after a while and gave the files to the staff she met by the entrance of the building.
