Mark was trying to get his head around where they were going. The men on this team, he’d learned, were from all over. Along with him, there was a former Oklahoma sheriff, an Alaskan deputy, two former Navy SEALs, a former marine, someone from the French Army Special Forces, and a former Canadian intelligence officer. Then there was a former CIA agent, one whose resume had also included time in the Navy and then as a private contractor. For the life of him, Mark couldn’t shake the feeling that he was the least qualified person there.
