“THIS IS BLOOD.” DINI straightened, holding out a broken leaf for them to examine. Godric took it, frowning. He turned to Brita. “This doesn’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling, Brit.” Brita pulled an evidence bag from her pack and opened it so Godric could drop the sample inside. “We don’t know this is their blood.” Godric shrugged. “No. But we found one of Pleasance’s charcoal pencils up at the top of the ridge so they were here and now they’re missing.
