CHAPTER FOURTEEN
HE’D BEEN WATCHING them since they left the hospital the night before. They’d been busy, obviously preparing for something. And they were always together, keeping an eye on each other. It would be hard to get her alone.
They were a large family. And as he watched them eat and talk and laugh, he realized they were a close-knit one too. Fiercely protective of each other. The tall blonde woman had cop eyes and the big guy, the one with close-cropped blond hair and the intense gaze that continually swept the area despite the relative safety of their location, he had to be military. They were an intimidating bunch. He had no doubt they’d react strongly when he snatched the woman. Especially her sharp-eyed date who never let her out of his sight. If he was smart he’d walk away
