CHAPTER THREE When Lisa came back to Granny's house, Mike was there, in his white suit, sitting with a glass of Jack Daniels and ice in front of him. Mike at fifty was no ordinary Alabama boy grown up. He was a very special guy, with a terrific educationhe had gone to Harvard on a scholarship to study scienceand a souped-up brain, which was always trying to figure out the way things worked.
