There was a pause before they all burst out laughing.
“I’m glad you find my Roman traditions so amusing,” Lucius muttered in mock exasperation. “Come, after a little wine, my clothing will appear a wonder.”
“I agree,” Culhwch laughed as Lucius led him away. “But it might take a lot of wine!”
