31 Mike and I sat in his Jeep. We’d walked out together arm in arm because both our knees were a little wobbly. “Jesus,” he said. “I hope I never see something like that again in my life.” “That makes two of us.” “I’m sorry,” he said. “I really don’t think I can drive yet.” Mike suddenly jumped from the car, making it to the bushes before he threw up. I picked up the gym towel I’d used earlier.
