The girls had gone over to Sandraʻs house to visit with Ireland and do some help around the farm. Theyʻve been coming regularly since Ivan disappeared just to give Sandra a little help. Sandraʻs soaps, essential oils, and medicinal products were a great success that they needed to expand their medicinal garden. Ro also got materials to build a drying shed for the medicinal plants. There seems to be a lot of people now reverting back to the traditional style of medicine where dried plants were put in envelopes and steeped into a tea. Where tinctures were given in small glass vials with droppers for medicine to be placed on the tongue. Where plants were mashed in a mortar and pestle and squeezed through a cheesecloth to extract itʻs truest form, either taken in its concentrated form
