Avalon went to see her maternal grand and great-grandparents who shared a wing just off the main hall of the palace. Her paternal grand and great-grandparents lived in a separate wing but the couples visited often. Most of the wing, though huge, was unused since it was just the four of them. They shared a main living area and kitchen and their bed/lakerooms each had a private pool that was fed by the main lake. There was also a lake room big enough to fit about 10 people comfortably in case they had guests. Every bed/lakeroom had a pool. We didnʻt have beds like normal people, we needed to sleep in the water. Our beds were comfortably made with lake kelp and covered with sand.
