        It was before sunrise when Ivan awoke. He got out of bed, did his morning business and walked out into the cabin where the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the lake. He was admiring the view from this massive cabin and felt small and insecure. Almost jealous as well. But he couldnʻt be mad at his friends. Their families probably worked hard for generations to get to the status that they are now. But sometimes, secretly, he wished they were supernaturals. It seemed humans were an inferior race to the supernaturals. But of course, they would be. Compared to supernaturals, humans were weak.
