Suddenly, I heard Rose's voice.
"Samuel, I've already resolved the situation with the supplier. We can talk now."
When Catherine heard Rose's voice, she pushed me so hard that I staggered back in surprise, almost falling. When I looked into her eyes, I realized how nervous she was about being caught.
However, I didn’t understand why she was so desperate since we were both adults and weren’t doing anything wrong.
I turned to the side and saw Rose with her eyes narrowed, looking at the two of us. She definitely understood what was about to happen here, given how sharp Rose was.
"Are you still here?" Rose asked Catherine, who swallowed hard before responding.
"Mr. Samuel, excuse me, I'll return to my work."
