Rupert Washington was nearly beside himself with worry.
Elizabeth Black had sent him a picture of a bottle of over 70-proof liquor, then told him she had downed several glasses. Rupert Washington estimated her alcohol tolerance; she would probably be knocked out after just two glasses of that stuff. Yet, she claimed to have had several! She was bound to be completely drunk tonight!
