"You want to introduce work for my husband?"
Elizabeth Black looked at Irene Sheridan in disbelief. Had they become so arrogant? Showing off a Mercedes-Benz was one thing, but introducing work to Ling Daren seemed a bit too much.
"You can't introduce him to any work," Elizabeth Black couldn't help but retort.
"Why not?" Irene Sheridan bristled at the comment. She felt she was now superior to Elizabeth Black in every way and couldn't bear to hear her say otherwise.
"Jonas Owen knows a Mr. Bryce who has several housing projects under his management. Normally, we wouldn't even consider such introductions. During holidays, people line up to give gifts to Mr. Bryce's family!" Jonas Owen puffed out his chest, smiling
