There's something to be said about falling asleep next to someone you care about. Since Fafnir was kind enough to educate me on how the entire mate bond thing worked, I quickly learned how to control it. It was easy enough to let out a little burst at a time to judge Fiona's reaction to it. But when she took charge and pulled my body into her own without me releasing any part of it I completely lost my hold.
Not only did I lose full control over the bond, but also my heart. This tiny little water fairy sleeping in my arms will be the end of my Godliness, and I was more than ok with that fact.
