It almost felt like I was floating. The intense pain was gone and I was surrounded by black. I started seeing a light so I kept blinking trying to get a better look and finally my eyes began to focus. I was still in the same place I was before but everything sounded sharper and things were brighter and I could see things that were really far away. My eyes felt like they could zoom in on objects. I could smell so many different scents but the one that really captured my attention was that of my mate.
