16 YEARS AGO

The day when Singh was still carried by her mother.

''Uahh~ Uahh~ '' Baby Singh cried loudly.

Lenora bites Singh back using her fangs, she didn't realize that her daughter's blood would be so delicious. ''This will be her bite mark. Show this to me when she gets back.'' Lenora stated

''Not sure if she'll consider you as her mother when she came back here'' Kieran chuckles as he made his voice a little low.

''Shut up! She will. We are connected in blood and heart, and besides, we look alike'' She said confidently.

Lenora goes back into the Realm and has thought that she will take her daughter's existence a secret. ''Mother mustn't know about Singh or else she will push me to kill her.'' She sighed.

''Queen Amadis, I've returned.'' She stated and bend her head as she was showing some respect.

''You ungrateful woman! You just didn't leave without notice but also leave your son here. Are you satisfied now? having a peaceful life nowhere and going back here with a healthy and fair body with no bruises. It seems like you're having a good life somewhere, why did you come back?. And also I've raised your impious son aren't you going to pay me back?'' She said angrily as she gazed at Lenora with a deadly look.

''Y- Yes Queen, I'll pay you back.''

''Heh? How are you gonna pay me back you Lil b***h? If not only your father loves you a lot, I would've killed you earlier. I was really pissed off by your looks. I regretted giving birth to such an unfilial child.'' She said sarcastically as she walks toward Lenora holding her chin with her index finger and released a deadly glare.

''Queen Amadis, who is she?'' An unfamiliar voice has spoken.

''Is he Sidero?'' Lenora stated confusedly.

''He's your irresponsible mother.'' Queen Proclaimed as she rolled her eyes.

''Sidero, come to mother'' Lenora begged and tears escaped on her eyes rolling down her cheeks.

Although she has forgotten about Sidero's existence, she has still a heart and after she saw him, she realizes that she has still a handsome son even though she has no feelings for his father. Sidero opened his heart and hugged her back. But the Evil Queen was not happy with what she saw, she put back Sidero to the underground base and let him continue what he was doing lately. Lenora begged Amadis to let her stay with Sidero a little more but was refused and pushed out.

''Sidero has a job to accomplish, you can't just show affection here and waste the time. I have a job assigned to you. And tonight you'll gonna do it successfully.'' She exclaimed.

Lenora was dressed in a black revealing dress, black hat, and thorny high hill boots. She was also wearing a mask to hide her identity. Of course, she will attend a masquerade ball.

''Hi, Gorgeous lady out there. Do you have a companion? mind if I accompany you tonight?'' A stranger was pointing at Lenora. ''Yeah sure, I'm glad to accept your invitation Mr.'' Lenora replied.

''It's my pleasure, so what are you planning tonight?''

''W-what? what do you mean?'' ''Did he already know about the plan? Do I look suspicious?'' Lenora's thought.

''What are you planning? are you just gonna stand there and drink blood the entire night?'' He smirks.

'I misunderstood him. This is way too obvious of me'

''Do you mind if I invite you to dance?'' He invited, as he takes her hand and kissed it passionately.

''Yeah, sure why not.''

'James has signaled. I must stick to the plan.' -In her thought.

''U-Uhm I forgot I still have something to do haha gotta go,'' Lenora stated.

Her partner was left confused.

FLASHBACK.

''The plan is to attend the ball and take a risk to this mission. In this way, you can pay me back for raising your son. So the thing you'll gonna do is steal the necklace of invisibility of the Blood Battalion. James and his team will help you, Sidero will be there too. He's skilled so there's nothing to worry about.''

''Why do we need to steal the necklace of the Blood Battalion? Is this revenge or just taking their attention to us to begin a battle?''

''It's kind of like that. The truth is... your grandmother owns that necklace. That was the thing she has been always treasured but one of the Blood Battalion stole it and only me and your grandmother knew about it. We stayed silent for the peace and to avoid the war.'' Queen Amadis stated with a sad voice as she holds her both arms. That's the first time Queen Amadis Shown her weak side. But not for so long she suddenly changed her attitude.

‘We stayed silent for many years but now I'm gonna take back what ones was ours.’ she thought.

''So you must steal it successfully. The Blood Battalion was only having a masquerade ball once in 500 years.''

FLASHBACK END.

The explosion happened at the entrance.

''That must be Sidero and the others''

The Vampire guards near the Blood Battalion's main base have loosened. And few of them were knocked off by the team of James. Lenora entered the underground path and used her skills to knock off some guards. Of course, she's quite skilled. She also trained for years when she was in Arcadius. After a long path she walked through, she's arrived and met the Blood Battalion's leader. They fought. 5 vs. 3 Even though Lenora has a 2 strong companion, she has no chance to win the leader. She was full of bruises yet the leader has nothing even a little scratch.

''Being a dhampir really sucks. They are really strong. I have 1% chances of winning.'' Lenora's thought.

Lenora was about to escape but of course, the Blood Battalion leader won't let her off the hook easily. He choked Lenora and throw her on the wall like a lifeless cat. He pulled her hair and forced Lenora to talk.

''Who are you and what brings you here?'' He screamed angrily as he looks at Lenora in a deadly glare.

''Why would I tell you, thief!'' She blurted. She glared with a dagger look towards the Leader. Even though she is almost out of breath, she never speaks anything about her identity or her purpose in assassinating the Blood Battalion.

The Leader grew out his nails and pulled out Lenora Heart. They killed her. Lenora's two companions committed suicide when they see Lenora being killed.

Queen Amadis heard the news about their failure. She felt disappointed and also guilty. The blood Battalion hasn't known her identity and who send her to assassinate them 'cause of Lenora's loyalty to her mother. Her recklessness killed her daughter. She's being so desperate to avenge her mother and stole back their great treasure. Now she has only Sidero by her side, her grandson who she hates since his birth but now she's not sure about it.
