"Heather!" Nadia bolted inside the principal’s room as she saw me shivering in my seat. David was next to me and I was holding the cup of water that I didn’t even sip. I was too petrified about what happened in my locker.
"Nadia…" I whispered and we hugged each other.
"God! I’m glad you’re okay. What happened? "
"Uhm, a snake just went inside of my locker."
"What?! You mean, a real reptile? "
I nodded to answer her. She puts her hands in her mouth, unable to say anything because of shock.
"Miss Johanseen? Can you please take a seat first? " Principal Stein asked her calmly. Nadia pushed David aside and sat next to me. "I mean, Sir? How on earth did a snake sneak inside my friend’s locker?! We pay the school’s maintenance fees and – "
