Ian banged his head on the steering wheel. He really didn't know what he was doing? Why he didn't let Irene went to her work if he didn't give a f**k to Irene? He really have no idea as to why he's acting like that. Its like an instinct.
However, he also knew that Irene was working at that most prestegious restaurant. He knew that Irene was happy with it since it was her dream. He knew about it when he heard Irene talking with her mother that he got accepted to work at the restaurant that she always dream for.
With the thought of that, he wants Irene to resign because he will never let her that caused him to suffer be happy meanwhile he didn't get his happiness to live with Jamie. There's only no no and no in Ian's mind and he acts quickly by asking or more likely forcing Irene to resign.
He curls his fist on the steering and gritting his teeth.
"No way I will let you be happy Kim Irene."
And starts the engine before driving out from the house boundary.

Irene was curling on the couch. She let her tears falling down her cheek. Her eyes puffy and her breathing wasn't really stable as it had been almost 30 minutes she cried. She didn't even bother to wipe her wet cheeks.
She felt upset that she had to resign. It was her dream to work at that restaurant, but she should obey Ian. After all, Ian is her husband even according to the latter he never wanted this marriage and will never ever loved her. But still husband is husband and Irene shouldn't disobey Ian.
Irene sat up straight, wiping the tears away and took a deep breath. After her breathing came back to normal, she reached out for her phone that were place on the coffee table. She was about to call the manager but her manager already calling her.
"H-hello." Irene picks up the call, sniffling.
"Irene, where are you? You know that today we have the important event right?" The manager reminded. Irene almost slapped her forehead as she suddenly remembered about it and she was assigned to be the one that prepared the main menu.
"I-I will be there soon." Irene said without thinking of what Ian had warned her. As long as Ian didn't know that she still not resign, nothing bad will happen, Irene tried to reassure herself. She picks her bag and sling on her shoulder. Putting the round glasses that she usually wore, she walks out of the penthouse.

The phone rang and startled Ian who was focusing on his work. He picks up the call without looking at the caller ID.
"Hello." Ian answered, hands busy typing the paperwork on the computer.
"Hello, Ian!" A very familiar voice came from the other line. Ian stops from typing and focusing on the person on the other line
"Yewan?" Ian asks. "Why are you calling me all of sudden?" He continues.
Yewan, his friend who he had known since he came to the school in the Italy. He is a nice and kind hearted person.
From Yewan, he got to know Jamie and when he first saw that certain short girl, he thought that he's already fell in love, but he didn't dare to show his feeling because he wasn't sure if his feeling was true. Plus, he's only 10 that time. After knowing Jamie for 10 years, Ian was sure that he's really in love with Jamie. At the age of 20, and on Jamie's 20th birthday, he confessed to Jamie and he didn't expect for Jamie to return his feeling. He can't believe that actually Jamie also was in love with him. And its already been 4 years since they started dating.
"Is it wrong for me to call?" Yewan's voice snapped him out from his trance.
"No. It just weird. You usually hates to make an international call." Ian explains, leaning his back on his chair.
"I'm back now." Yewan chuckles.
"What?" Ian asks in disbelief. He thought that Yewan wants to stay in Italy a bit longer. He remembered the day he was leaving, Yewan said he will stay in for a few months to settle something. But, its not even a month since Ian coming back and his friend already call him and said he's back.
"I'm here now." Yewan said again. "I want to meet you." He said.
"Sure, but not now. Can we meet after I finish my work. I will text you the place." Ian said.
"Okay." Yewan replied. Ian wants to hang up but he hears Yewan's voice on the other line, stopping him from doing so. "Hey, Ian, can you call Jamie? She didn't pick up my phone." Yewan said. Ian froze. Yewan didn't know what had happened and he didn't dare to tell him. He was afraid to know Yewan's reaction. But he can't hide what had happened between him and Jamie from Yewan forever. Sooner or later, Yewan will know about it eventually.
"That-" Ian stops. He could hear Yewan 'what?' from the other line.
"Are you having a fight with her?" Yewan asks curiously. Ian let out a heavy sighed.
"I will tell you when we meet." Ian said and hang up before Yewan could reply or asks him with a lot of question.
Ian massage his temple. He didn't get to explain anything to Jamie. She won't listen to him. Jamie didn't open her door to let him in and explain everything. When he went home, he saw Irene on the couch but he didn't give a f**k to where Irene was sleeping because that moment he only thought of Jamie, Jamie and Jamie. He calls Jamie several times but she didn't even pick up. Letting out a frustrated sigh, he threw his phone away and slumped his body on his bed before he drifted to sleep.
"I need Yewan's help." He mumbles to himself before continuing his work.

Its already winter and the weather day by day became extremely chilly. Everyone that walking along the pavement were wearing their sweater.
Yewan was sitting in the WINGS Cafe, the place where he will meet Ian. He took a sip of his caramel macchiato while glancing on the busy road. He smiles to himself. He misses his home country. It had been almost 14 years he didn't come back. Now, he had graduated and decides to live in his birthplace again. Actually, his uncle in Italy had offered him a very nice job, suit with his master but he refused. He missed his home so much. He also missed his parents. For 14 years he's not coming back. Actually, sometimes his parents come to visit him there, but only when they have a time since they were also busy. Plus, he come back because he wants to find his love one. Someone that can love him, someone that can make him smile and someone that can give the happiness to him. Sure, he got many love letters during high school and even in university, and even many of them that had asked him out but they're not meeting Yewan's interest. So, part of his mission of coming back is to find his true love because he believe his gut that there's someone here that waiting for him.
"Yewan." A very familiar voice call out, snapping him out from his thought. He averted his gaze from the busy road to the raven haired male that already took his seat across of him. Then, his eyes wander behind Ian, trying to look for something or someone to be more precise. "What are you looking for?" Ian asks, tilting his head slightly to see what was Yewan looking for.
"Jamie? I thought you call her?" Yewan gave Ian a suspicious look. When Ian heard Jamie's name, he pressed his lips into a thin line. He wasn't sure how to, no scratch that, he wasn't sure where to start. "Lee Ian?" Yewan raised his eyebrow, waiting for Ian to spill it out. He's sure something was wrong between the two.
Hearing Yewan utters his full name, Ian shudders. Yewan is waiting for an answer from him.
"I'm married." Ian breath out. Yewan widens his eyes with that new information.
"W-what?" Yewan asks in disbelief. "Don't f*****g lie to me."
"I'm not lying Yewan." Ian sighed. "I don't know where to start." He said, fidgeting on his seat.
"Starts from how you end up married." Yewan said, crossing his arm over his chest. His tone was different. Its like Yewan is holding himself from punching Ian.
"When I arrived home, my dad suddenly gathered us up and he announced about I was going to marry." He breaths out. "I- I don't want it. I'm serious here. I love Jamie so damn much, I wanted to propose her but my dad ruin it. He asks me to marry that girl. I protest at first but he threaten me. He forbid me from stepping into that house and I will never get even for a single cent from his assets." He continues. "A-and I have no choice and I didn't tell Jamie about it but now Jamie knew about it and she is hating on me. I tried to explain to her but she refused to listen. She didn't even pick up my call. I didn't know what to do, Tae." Ian sighed.
"How can I didn't know about it?" Yewan asks, a respond that Ian didn't expect from Yewan. His I-Want-To-Beat-You tone already disappeared.
"Its not important at all. And you can check it by yourself on internet but I don't think its necessary now because you already know I'm married." Ian huffed.
"Not important? Are you kidding me? It is important to tell me. I'm your friend." Yewan replied in disbelief. He didn't believe Ian will say that it's not important to tell him about the marriage.
"Because I don't love that girl. I love Jamie. I did all of this because my dad was threatening me! For your information, I hate her" Ian snarls. He hates to talk about his marriage. It just because he will remember her face and it made him felt disgusted. The one that should in that house should be Jamie and not Irene! The one that should wore the same ring that was on Ian's finger should be Jamie! Not her.
"Woah Ian, relax." Yewan tried to calm his friend down. The other customers were staring at them with judgmental look and Yewan only smiled sheepishly while bowing his head a little to them while mouthing a sorry to them. "You shouldn't say something like that." Yewan said.
"Yewan!" Ian yells. "I thought you could help me."
"Help what? Help you to comfort Jamie?" Yewan asks. "I'm sorry but I won't do that. You already married Ian. Your fate with your wife now. Maybe, you are not meant to be with Jamie. Yes, I admit at first I want to punch you for breaking Jamie's heart but now I understand why. You have no choice but still it's your destiny with your wife and I don't want to ruin your marriage by helping you with Jamie." Yewan said then sipping his caramel macchiato. He leaned his back against the chair with his eyes staring at Ian's black one. He knew Ian was mad at him that moment for not helping him with Jamie but instead convince him to accept his destiny.
"Never Yewan, never. I always love Jamie and will forever love Jamie. And not that bitch." Ian said while gritting his teeth, fist curled tightly till it turns white. With angered was engulfing him, he got up and left the cafe without bid a goodbye to Yewan.
Yewan released a heavy sighed. Ian really love Jamie. He knew that but he wants Ian to forget Jamie because he's married. He knew its hard and it made him felt worried for what will happen. His feeling was telling that something would happen and it will hurt many hearts.
