Demetrius
After verifying the 2.5 million had been deposited into his Swiss account, Demetrius pored over the Senator’s crammed itinerary. He downloaded Washington D. C. maps and marked off locations where the Senator would be. He planned to visit those assassination sites for access to the Senator and means of escape. He also wanted a good look at the man, so he decided to start at the Senator’s office.
The irony wasn’t lost on Demetri when he assembled his pistol to the perky music of Chopin’s Polonaise. A fugue might have been more appropriate, but he didn’t plan to use the gun today and carried it only for self-defense.
