Demetri continued to scout locations on the Senator’s itinerary. So far he had eliminated most of the sites due to the Senator’s brief appearances. None provided major obstacles of a professional killer. Knocking off Senator Tobias would be relatively easy considering his high profile. Highly visible and accessible, he wasn’t guarded by a phalanx of security like the President. Even the best personal security system in the world couldn’t protect a president who mingled with the people from a determined professional assassin. The Secret Service might foil an amateur, but would only raise the challenge for a pro. All things considered, Senator George Tobias should be easy pickings.
