73 Demetrius Panos was in the cockpit with the Jeep’s owner when he noticed the auto on the tarmac approach the King Air. It parked parallel to the airplane and two men exited. Panos met them at the steps. “Police,” the heavyset detective in plain clothes said, flashing his badge.
