Escape

Eunoia's Pov

I am busy cooking in the kitchen when I noticed a shadow on the floor. I slowly look back and I saw a man holding a dagger in his right hand, he was about to stab me but out of nowhere there was another man who burst inside my house. He was wearing an armored gear like a knight. He has a greyish hair, pointed nose, dark eye brows, and has a deep blue eyes. In an instant he killed the man behind me. I froze for a while not knowing what to do, he look at me and told me to pack all of my belongings because it is not safe here anymore. So I ran to my room and gathered my important stuff there are a lot of questions in my head. Who wanted to kill me? Who is that knight? Where will I go after this? The knight came in my room and grab my hand. We ran as quick as we can but I keep on tripping. So he carried me in his back. I noticed that there are three to five man chasing us. We are now running in the deep deep forest. I lost track of the men who is chasing us. Then we arrive at a cave there are four more knights here. One knight approach us.

"Captain Axel!!" shouted the knight who came to us

"Please accompany Eunoia to the secret place Dante. You know what to do"

"Yes Captain!"

I don't know what is going on, how do they know me. What did I get myself into. I am following the knight then we came across a secret passage inside the cave. There are too many questions in my mind. The knight ask me if I was okay because I am too silent. So I ask him who he was. He introduced himself to me.

"I am Dante and I am one of the guardian knight in the XorpKnight"

"Knight? XorpKnight?" I asked

"Yes Eunoia, soon you will understand but this is not the best time to answer some of your question. It will become clear to you once we get there." he replied

"There?Where?" I asked

Dante raise her hand in front of a big boulder and it created beams of greenish light. He had open some sort of portal. Is this real or am I just dreaming? I am hesitant to enter in that portal because I can't comprehend all of the things that is happening right now. Then a greenish beam is lighting inside my bag when I open it. It was my mom's necklace the beam is pointing at the portal.

Dante reach out her hand and I gathered all of my strength. I close my eyes and went inside the portal.

King Herbert's Pov

I threw my chalice and break the table in front of me. I shout angrily at my men who cannot do a simple task and they have failed the mission several times. I know that the princess is already in this world and I need to finished her before my kingdom will fall. If I could change that prophecy then I can easily control all of the kingdom. I ask one of my knight to bring Lurin to me. Lurin is my clairvoyant (a person who can predict the future).

"You ask for my presence your majesty."

"I want you to foresee the future can you tell me if there will be changes about the prophecy" I asked

"Yes your majesty." she replied

Lurin remove the cloak over her head and open her eyes. She look up in the sky and open her eyes. Her eyes glowed in reddish light. After a minute she closed her eyes and put her cloak back over her head.

"I'm sorry your majesty but the prophecy is the same as last time." said Lurin

"But your majesty I have an idea on how we could change the prophecy." she added while smiling at me viciously

Whenever she gives me that smile I know that it will be a great plan. I ask my men to leave us alone so that we can further discuss the plan concerning about the prophecy.

Captain Axel Pov

High hopes have returned in the kingdom when the townspeople found out that the princess had returned. I head back at the castle and look for Dante. When I saw him I asked for how is the princess doing. He told me that she is still confused about the situation and now she is resting in her room. The Head Master will talk to her tomorrow so that she will know more about herself and her true identity.

I went out for a while and find myself in the castle's garden. I sit in one of the benches and look at the clear night sky. The moonlight seems bright tonight. I close my eyes and feel the gentle breeze and listen to crickets. Then out of a sudden I remembered the face of Eunoia. I open my eyes and put my palms in my face. Why do I keep on seeing her in my mind? I need to old myself together because I will be working with her more often. And I can finally introduced myself to her. I smiled and look back at the moon at night.

The Next Day

Dante went inside my room and he told me that there will be an assembly in the meeting room. I quickly changed my clothes and grab my sword, I put in a scabbard (a sheath for holding a sword). I went outside my room and head to the meeting room. While walking I came across with Captain Leo. He was also one of the high rank knight in the kingdom. We both went inside the meeting room. All of the high rank knights, elite, judge, the corporal, and the head masters were all gathered up to discuss our next move. One of the major concerned in the meeting was Eunoia, we all know that she has capabilities and we need to train her so that she too can participate in the war.

The Past

The parents of Eunoia was the former King and Queen of Kingdom Shelom. Her mother holds great wisdom and knowledge. She carried out plan on how to win a war and all of her plans became victorious. Eunoia's father hold great strength. He defeated great knights who tried to invade our kingdom. They both work together to defend our kingdom from the enemy. When the queen got pregnant the people in the kingdom rejoiced. But things had started to collapsed in the kingdom when a sorcerer warn the King and Queen about their daughter. She will be immediately be killed once the queen gives birth because she will hold great power and wisdom and that is why they see her as a treat in other kingdom. To escape the death of the princess the Queen should give birth to another dimension so that the baby will be safe. Both the King and Queen fled out to their kingdom and went to another dimension.

The King ordered the sorcerers to create a strong barrier around the kingdom so that the people will be safe when they re not around. But one night the barrier got destroyed and Herberts men attacked Kingdom Shelom countless times which resulted to thousands of death.

Eunoia's Pov

I slowly open my eyes and saw that I am in a big grand room. I saw a woman in front of me. She bowed to me and introduced herself to me. She is Kelly and is one of the maidservant in the kingdom. She bowed down to me and prepared me breakfast. I can't believe what I am seeing so I slap my cheeks to find out if I am dreaming. Kelly walk up to me and ask me if I am okay. I ask her if I was dreaming. And she gives me a smile.

"Your majesty you are not dreaming. This is the place where you truly belong. We have been waiting for you in years." Kelly said

I can see that she has a teary eye. She apologized and she told me that the head master will go here to explained everything so that everything will be clear. Before meeting with the head master Kelly prepared a dress for me to wear. Kelly helps me in putting the dress on. I was too shocked when I saw myself in the mirror. It is so beautiful and grand.

I sit for a while then there was a knock at the door Kelly told me that the Head Master is here. I stand up to greet the head master. When Kelly open the door I saw an old man, this might be the head master. He is being accompanied by two handsome men. One of them is familiar then I remembered that he is the one who save me last night. I look at him for a while and our eyes met.
