The man didn’t respond to Matt. Instead, he threw the knife’s handle, hitting him in the eye. Staggered, the boy instinctively covered his face, while his opponent jumped forward. Matt didn’t realize how it happened but the energy field that was now him reacted violently. As if it had its own mind, his arm energized, reaching on the man’s neck and slamming him with enormous force on the ground.
