The guard carries Iris to the healer’s court immediately. When I walk inside, I remember my first day in the Veiled Moon pack. It feels like ages ago now.
“Can you stop the silver in her blood from spreading?” I ask the healer as soon as the guard from Lukas’s study drops her on the work surface.
“Let me examine the patient.”
I still remember the kind lady’s face from when she treated my wounds. Iris needs a hospital, but if the healer can’t administer any first aid that can help her wolf fight back, then we’ll have to move her.
