I blink, my lips parting at the sight of Lukas standing at the entrance of the villa’s terrace.
I’ve been here for hours, exploring and reveling in the breathtaking view, but the hollowness in my chest had deepened.
Neither the amazing spa treatment I received nor fine dinning managed to fill the void. There’s a part of me still reaching out to my past, still wanting a do over.
