“Queen Jade, you have to eat something. You haven't eaten anything since this morning and already it's —” she sighs, “Its well into the evening.”
I don't even look at the food she has placed on the bed beside me.
“Mallory, have you heard anything about the twins? Do you know how they are faring?”
“They're just babies. How could someone have poisoned them?” I question nobody in particular.
Mallory stands from her position crouching beside my bed. “I know they've been moved to the hospital as they needed some of the equipments there, Queen Jade. The twins are receiving the best care possible in our realm, so please have something to eat.”
