Chaos Series 1: Angel

"Angel- oh, you're busy?" My head snap at my door frame when I hear Ellie's soft voice speaking. I smiled at her and nod.

"Yes, quiz lang naman for tomorrow, no big deal." I said and she slowly nod.

"Why? You need something? I still have donuts here if you want!" I excitedly said and she chuckled before shaking her head.

"No no, I'm fine, meron pa rin naman ako. Grabe ka Angel! Hindi ko naman kayang ubusin yung anim sa isang araw." She said and I grin, making her chuckle.

"So... ahm... bakit ka napapunta dito? Do you need anything?" I asked once again, she lean on the door frame, crossing her arms in front of her chest and that's when I saw bond papers on hed hands.

I slightly tilt my head, "Do you need help sa acads? Assignment?" I asked and she slowly shake her head before walking towards me, closing the door behind her.

"May ipapakita lang sana ako, I want to know your thoughts about it." She said while slowly walking towards me. I faced my swivel chair to her direction and pull it towards her who's sitting down on my bed.

"Sure, what is it?" I asked,

She handed me the bond papers she was holding and I was confused at first but when I saw it, my jaw dropped.

"Oh my Ellie! You're so pretty! And the...  the photography! Did you took these?!" I exclaimed and I hear her chuckle before nodding.

"You should have really bought the camera!" I exclaimed before pouting, she look at me and pout as well.

"You think so?" She asked and I immediately nod.

"Yes! Look at these! These looks great! Did you use your phone on taking these?" I asked and she slowly shake her head.

"I used... Ace's camera, it was a vintage one, kagaya nung tinitingnan mo nung Friday. Hindi naman kagaya na kagaya, pero ganun yung style. At first I was having a hard time with it. I don't know how it works, but I managed to use it while he does our research." She said and I slowly nod. Trying to sink things in my head.

"Oh... is Ace good? I mean... mabait ba siya? Masaya kasama?" I curiously ask, here I go again. Asking things about other people. Gosh Angel! Kailan ka naging chismosa?

I saw her bit her lower lip and shrug, "Well... for me, a person like me, he's okay, he's nice in certain ways. But maybe for you, you might find him a little rude." She said and my brows furrowed.

"Hoy hindi naman 'no! For me mabait din naman si Ace." I said and she chuckled, as if I said something wrong.

"He's nice, yes, but he can be careless. For an innocent person like you, he's no good. He party a lot, he drinks a lot, he don't have control to his body once he's drunk." She said and I slowly nod. Still a little bit confused but I should not ask question more.

Maybe the two of them are really close. They're classmates and stays in one classroom for almost the whole day that's why the two of them probably had some good and bad interaction.

"What about Ezekiel? What do you think about him?" I asked and she squints her eyes before tilting her head.

"Si Zek... hmm, he's not...  he's not really the perfect guy to me. My female classmates would always fangirl for him in a minimal things, but for me... he's not that quiet good." She said and I tilted my head.

"What do you mean?" I confusedly ask, she meets my eyes and sigh.

"He's too nice to be true. I mean... I have never seen him mad, I have never heard him raise his voice. Kahit patanga-tanga na minsan ang mga kasama niya, he stay calm. I'm curious kung nasaan yung mga galit niya. Like you! Saan mo tinatago galit mo? Kahit ikaw hindi ka man lang magalit or what." She said and my jaw dropped. Speechless on what she just said. Its really shocking to me whenever Ellie would speak a lot and explain. But I'm happy whenever she do.

"H-Hindi naman ako nagagalit." I said,

"Exactly! That's impossible Angel. Parehas kayo  ni Ezekiel, you two sometimes creeps me out." She said before starting to fix the printed picture that I put down awhile ago.

"Edi... edi we can go along with each other?" I asked and she look at me and squinted her eyes.

"What?" She ask, her eyebrows almost touching each other. My eyes widened and shake my head before standing up from my chair and outline her up from my bed.

"Wala wala, labas kana, I'm gonna review na." I said while pushing her towards the door.

"Angel... ano ba?! You're keeping something from me-

"Wala! Bye!" I said and close the door when I have finally push her out.

I walk towards my chair and sigh, looking at my fridge where I put the donuts. I'll just heat them up tomorrow.

The next day I woke up early and took a bath early, giving myself a good hot bath that I enjoyed so much. I slip on a pair of mom jeans and a fitted, 3/4, white shirt.

I put my hair to a ponytail and grab my school bag, laptop, and the box of Crispy Kreme donuts and went down.

Ellie is already downstairs which I'm...  worried a bit, she probably still thinks about what happened last night.

"Para kanino ba 'yang donuts na yan? Ininit mo pa talaga." She said while we are inside the van. I look at the box of donuts on my lap and smile.

"Ahm... I'll just give it to a friend." I said and she look at me, before looking back at her phone.

"Fine, I know you're keeping something from me. But fine, I respect your decision. Everyone needs privacy, but if you need help, I'm here." She said and I slowly nod.

Glad she understands.

We arrived at the school and i immediately went to the SSG office, as I am opening the door, I saw some female students looking at me, but once I see them, they would look away.

I just ignore them and continue to enter the office, closing the door behind me. I went to Ezekiel's table and put down the box of donuts. I find some memo pads which I gladly find one and write a note.

Classes started and our first subject wasn't that bad. But our second it. We took the quiz that made me sweat and made me take deep breaths for hundred times. The rule is once you're finish, you can finally eat your snack. So when I have finally reviewed my paper, I handed it to our prof and went out the classroom with my bag and laptop in my hand.

I went to the cafeteria and spot Ellie there. I run towards her and sit beside her.

"Hey... how's class?" I asked, giving her a smile.

She shrug, "Its fine, like the usual, boring." She said and I slowly nod.

"Lets buy something, what do you want?" I excitedly ask. Masyadong na-stress ang bituka ko sa quiz kaya mabilis nilang tinunaw yung kinain ko kaninang breakfast.

"I think there's Macaroni salad, I want one." She said and I nod,

"I'll go get us." I said and she nods, not sparing a glance at me. I stand up and walk towards the counter. Ordering one serving of Macaroni salad, I'm not in the mood for that so I ordered  some tuna pie and siopao.

"Here's our food!" I excitedly said as I place down the tray.

Ellie put down her phone and look at the tray before pouting.

"Angel fork." She said and I my eyes widened.

"Ah yes, sorry, sorry." I said and rush back towards the counter. I grab one fork, only for Ellie, but as I turn around and was about to walk back towards Ellie, someone bumped to me, followed by a hot liquid on my skin.

"Omg! Sorry Angel! Hindi ko sinasadya." One student said, I look at her and smiled before shaking my head.

"Its fine, its fine." I said and gave her a smile.

"What happened?! Anong ginawa mo sa kapatid ko?!" My head snap up as I hear Ellie's voice.

"Ellie its fine, calm down, walang mag kasalanan." I said and she look at me before glaring at the girl. She took my hands and pull my away from the girls and brought me back to our tables to eat.

A frustrated sigh escaped my lips as I try to remove the stain on my white shirt for the nth time. I look at my reflection on the mirror and throw a small tantrum as the stain looks so obvious on my shirt.

I sigh and gave up, looks like I have to walk around the school with a stained shirt. I just washed my hands and went out the bathroom.

My eyes widened as I saw Ezekiel leaning at the wall. He lift his head up  and stand up properly.

"What happened?" He seriously asked.

"May nakabubo lang sa akin ng sauce ng siomai, its fine, no big deal."  I said and he slowly nod.

"Here, take this, it's my shirt." He said as he hands me a white shirt.

"Ezekiel you don't-

"I want to, I know you're uncomfortable with that set up. So change because class is about to start." He said and I slowly nod before turning around. And to my surprised, I saw the girl who bumped go me awhile ago, few meters away from us.

I squinted my eyes and tried to remember something.

Where did I saw them again?

Right! Sa football field!
