Alex POV
Everything happened so fast. Monika said that she was pregnant, and than she fell off the top of the stairs. The noise was so loud, I could almost hear her bones breaking.
I tried to hold her, I tried to run after her... but I could not stop it.
Almost in a blind of an eye, Monika was at the end of the stairs, her body hit the side wall. She crumbled in a fetus position and than screamed in pure misery. I could tell that she was in a lot of pain, and it hurt me too.
"Monika? Why didn't you tell me?" - I asked her desperately, but it was like she wasn't even paying attention to me. Why wasn't she paying attention to me?
Blood. So much blood coming out of her, as she fainted in my arms.
