"Damn this woman" - Alex cursed under his breath, watching Lana walk down the entrance stairs, and get back in her car
"One would think that her husband would have some control over her"
"She is an insufferable b***h" - a raspy, feminine voice came from a dark corner of the hall "Her husband is blindfolded by her, he doesn't have the guts to tell her no"
"Were you here the whole time?" - Alex asked Rose
"I couldn't resist" - she replied with a heavy voice, filled with suppressed hate and anger.
"Why am I not surprised?" - Alex sighed with a smirk on his face "Did anyone see you?"
"No"- she replied walking a step forward but still staying after his back after all. "I have been reduced to less than a shadow, due to Lana. And she reduced you to less than a man, tonight
