Third POV
John made sure to walk after Massimo and Lana, while they were walking to the car.
He kept looking around, hoping that everyone would be distracted enough to not notice his head snapping from one side to another, clearly interested in something. Or someone.
He cursed under his breath, just right when Masimmo turned to glare at him.
'I am going to greet the host" - he said with a blank face, but the look in his eyes was very meaningful. "Get to the car, and follow us. Make sure to be in between my security, not behind them"
John swallowed. He should have figured out that Massimo would understand his purposes, he was always the one to look through everything.
"Yes" - John nodded, annoyed. After this night, he wanted nothing more than to have a hot shower and go to sleep
