"We got her" said Max.
Its been two weeks we started our investigation to find the betrayer. I looked at the computer and smiled.
My suspicion was right. It was her.
"Finally, one goal down. Should we hand this over to police?" asked Max.
Max was second secretary of my dad. He was the most trusted man of father.
When I met him and told my plans he was very interested and eager to help me. He was very friendly and cheerful guy. We became friends. Well, he said that to my father when he came to meet us. Well, I am still not used to these things. But when I saw him for first time I was sure that I saw him somewhere before. When I asked his background he said that he was a middle class person,trying to meet the two ends.
But I didn't buy that. Because my gut told me there was something,and my gut was always right.
"No, We wait until our project presentation. Let them think that they have the upper hand." I said.
Max looked at me with intense eyes.
I looked at him.
"What?" I asked.
He smiled and said. " You look like a predator who is waiting for his prey.
I smiled while I was folding my hands on my chest.
"As far as I remember,you weren't like this. You were a girl who was silent. You were lonely. You were so devasted when you knew about boyfriend cheated on you. But I would like to say
I like the way you are now. In those two weeks I have seen you laughing more,smiling more. It's like I met a new person." He said smiling,his green eyes piercing mine.
I stood there. Staring at him. His green eyes alluring me. There was something else in his eyes. Amusement and something else.
That's when it striked me, I remember him now. He was the second son of Abe Nolan, CEO of the second richest Inc. after David Williams. I saw his profile when I was in Ron's office.His father was one of my next targets.
So,Why was the son of a rich guy,working in our small company as a second secretary?
I smiled and smacked him slightly and said," Let's get to work shall we?"
He smiled,"Of course."
