David's pov:
"Your going to be okay. Look at me baby." I said.
My heart clenched when her eyes started to close,I called her again and again but she didn't reply.
Fear started to creep inside of me. I picked her up in bridal style, sparks and tinglings flowed through me. I ran with my wolf speed towards Lucy's. Her house was near compared to pack clinic and the city.
She was slightly stirring. "You are going to be okay" I hushed her. Sam was growling.
I reached her house and knocked her door more like banged.
"Open up Lucy!" I barked.
"What is it,Dave?" She said opening her door, rubbing her eyes as she was woken from a peaceful sleep.
Her eyes widened at the sight infront of her.
"I need your help." I said,carrying Adriana inside.
"I will get my kit." She said, running towards her room.
I placed her on the sofa. She was still bleeding. I caressed her cheek and took her hand in mine.
"Okay, Let's start." She said coming back with her kit. I slowly removed her leather jacket,that she was wearing,leaving her in a black tank top.
Ohh...Goddess!!! She was a beauty. I would have ravished her,right then and there, if she wasn't hurt.
I moved up and back so that she could do the work. I stared at Adriana. This woman really is a surprising one. She really made me fall for her tonight. Her moves were really astonishing. I must say she have guts. The person should be screaming and running away, seeing all those things.But she stood there, shooting the people and wolves. She even helped me,to fight with the rogues.She didn't have any fear and she finished off every men.
"Toldya she is different." said Sam.
"Yep,she is." I said smiling.
I never wanted a mate, because I thought women were weak, heyy..Don't judge me,because I have seen it. And that scene never left my mind. Sam even blocked me for a whole year,because I never even tried to find our mate. But when I saw her tonight in the field, I changed my mind, I was happy that my mate was strong
human. My wolf was jumping up and down. I smiled.
"She is alright,Just let her take some rest." Lucy said. Her face showing another expression.
"What is it, Lucy?" I asked. Confusion evident in my voice.
"Where did you find her?"she asked.
I told her the whole thing happened.
"What is it, Lucy?" I asked again.
"Dave, She isn't a normal human being.
she is different." Said Lucy.
"What the hell are you saying?" I asked.
" If she is different, why I didn't notice it?" I asked.
"Dave,the bullet that she was shot with was casted with spell. Mere touch of it is enough to kill a werewolf, painfully.
So, you can think about how it will effect a human. But she, she isn't dead. Her heart is still beating, she is fighting it off,that made her unconscious. She has a shield protecting her. A spell maybe. I am a witch, even I can't figure her out. What I want to tell you Dave, is
She is not a normal human, she is one of the supernatural creatures like us. Maybe a witch. Dave, I insist you to stay away from her. We don't know what she is."
I was shocked with the news that I heard. Adriana is not human? She can be a witch? But why I didn't get the scent? But me and my wolf was focused on the last part. Stay away from her? My wolf got angry at that, he was trying to take control,but I suppressed him.
"She is our mate,David. We waited for ten years for her. Now we found her, we won't let her go, No matter what she is.
She is ours." Sam said angrily.
Lucy must have saw, the fight for our dominance,she took a step back.
"I can't Lucy. I can't stay away from her.
She is my mate!." I said clenching my fists.
"She is your what?" Lucy asked, not sure about what I said.
"Mate. She is my mate." I said.
She gasped, when that words fell from my mouth.
I carried Adriana, towards Lucy's car. After placing her in the passenger seat, I turned around.
"Thank you Lucy. " I said, hugging her,she was like a mother to me, she took care of me after after our families were killed in a rogue attack.Her family and our family were close, from old times.
"Don't mention it Dave. You are my little brother.Even though we are not biologically related.Take care, " She said chuckling and patting my back.
"And bring her to meet us,officially" adding, a slight smile playing on her lips.
"Yeh, I will." I said. I hugged her,opened the door and started the engine.
"Dave," she called. I looked to her.
"You should do something, about her."
She said.
I nodded.
"Have a safe trip" she said.
"Good night" she said.
"Good night" I said. Then I took off, thinking about what we talked.
