Zane had already noticed Ethan had been spending a lot of time with Eleanor lately. Still, he didn't expect that just two months in, the alpha had fallen for someone's ex-wife.
Zane hesitated, knowing he might be overstepping, but couldn't stop himself from bringing it up. "Alpha, Miss Reynolds is Carl' wife."
Come on, no matter how long you've been single, chasing after someone else's wife is a bit much.
Ethan shot him a cold glance. "You think Eleanor's not good enough for me?"
Zane started to respond, but the look on Ethan's face—like he'd tear someone apart just for breathing wrong—made him back down quick. "I mean... I wouldn't dare say either way."
