Creedence looked indecisively at his wife while she flung off her cloak and started to remove her dress. Obedience was as quick to remove her cloak and Creedence was started to realize she had been naked under it the entire time. Seeing that William did not hesitate to take off his clothes, Creedence went along. He focused his eyes on Obedience. He was well-familiar with Tace’s body and even in the middle of this strange situation he couldn’t help but look at another woman.
The dark-haired woman had a few years on Tace, to be sure, but that didn’t bother Creedence. It wasn’t her nudity that surprised Creedence; it was the mark on her rump that was nearly the same as Tace’s. Only when he saw it on Obedience did he realize how serious the affair had become.
