Her head was pounding and her breath felt heavy in her chest as she felt the immediate rise of a panic attack start to bubble up in her throat. No wait, not panic. Vomit. Devina hurled her aching body out of bed and made a dash for the door across the room, which she hoped was the bathroom and not a closet. As her brain was waking up and fighting to form thoughts through the dense fog that still lingered in her head, she finally realized she had no idea whose bedroom she was in.
