Chapter Thirteen: Lillyanna

After we got to the room I was going to lay down and sleep, but John had different plans. He ran me a bath and told me to go take it, Of course I complained but in the end he begged and I caved. I mean who wouldn't when their mates who's an Alpha begs like a child? I soak in the hot bath the hot water stings the wound on my back but it also helps. It feels so much better, I wash my hair and body than dry off. I put on a tank top so John could bandage my wound. "How does it feel? Need any medicine?" He asks softly. "I'm fine, it doesn't hurt...* I mumble as I lay on my stomach relaxed the slow motion of his hand makes me drift off to sleep.

I wake to someone knocking on John's door and I check the clock, 3am who in the hell would be knocking this early? if it was an emergency they'd contact both of us and through mindlink at that. I open the door as my wolf stirs awake, I tense as I see who it is. Emily stands in just a robe and hair messy like she just got f****d. "What does you want?" I ask her irritated. She jumps like she wasn't expecting me...huh weird I thought everyone knew I've been sleeping in John's room or him mine since that Omega attacked me? "Li...Lilly!" She smiles, fake, 'She wants to steal mate' Ella says fully awake now. "Is John awake?" "Why?"

She smiles that sick smile I hate, "Well I needed to..talk to him" "about?" I was getting very agitated and so was Ella. "I thought I could keep him company you know...help out an old friend?" I scoff crossing my arms, "In just a robe?" "Well you never know what kind of...needs he might have" I tense "He's asleep and if he had...needs, as you say. I am more than capable of handling them." I was closing the door when she laughs, "Is that why he hasn't marked you?" I tense, "We're waiting for my eighteenth birthday. Not that its any of your business." I grit out hand gripping the door tightly.

I feel warm arms wrap around me and I relax breathing in his scent. "Whats wrong love?" John asks softly in my ear. "Oh John!" Emily high pitched voice stretches when she sees John. he looks at her, sighs and says. "What the hell are you doing here?" "I just wanted to take care of your needs." God does the b***h ever shut up? "No one wants you here, and if I had any needs Lillyanna is more than capable of handling them." I smile as he kisses my neck right in front of her. "But John-" He slams the door in her face and murmurs in my ear, "Come back to bed baby girl." I follow without complaint, the longer I'm with him the more I want to stay. 'We get stronger when mate is around' My wolf says, 'Maybe, or I just fall for Alphas who have attitudes but are also sweet.'

I climb back in bed next to John and cuddle into his side as he wraps his arms around me. He kisses the top of my head "Night beautifully" "Night John" I mumble back as I fall back asleep. I wake to find John gone, I sit up and look around and notice his scent has faded slightly like he's been gone for an hour or so. I look at the time to see its 9am. Wrinkling my nose I wonder why he didn't wake me and why I slept passed my usual time. I get up and make the bed, I know Omegas usually do it, but since I slept passed my usual time I decided I won't make them work over time. I shower, dress and head down finding the others talking quietly.

The talking stops when I enter the kitchen "Whats wrong?" I ask as I head to grab a protein bar and a shake from the fridge. "Nothing just talking about your party is all." John says as he kisses my cheek. I smile and than look at Rebecca and the other girls, "Speaking of do I really need to dress up and have a big party?" Rebecca was just about to answer when Luna Queen Lady Labella walks in and answers instead. "Well of course child, a mating ball will be heard just like for everyone else. Even if you and John are mates, plus I would love to dress you up." She giggles like a mother and I couldn't help but wonder if my mom would've been the same way. with that everyone gets back to talking about the party in three weeks. I leave and go to the training gym, John following as always.
