Chapter Nine

Krysta still doesn't stop asking her. She was still curious about her and what she had witnessed earlier.

Kaiser came out immediately after handing her the snack. So she was left with her naughty friend. She immediately told her two other friends what she saw.

"What now? You two don't have a label? But already kissing, huh?"

"He doesn't say anything. What should I ask?"

"Flirt! You are a woman, of course, you have to clarify the mediator between the two of you. What is that? He just hugged and kissed you, then there is no label, and you're already sleeping in the same bed? "her friend said. "Action speaks louder than words are not always used."

She thought about what Krysta had said.

"Oh what? Have you ever thought about it? Ask him not like that as if you're already contented with that."

Shamia nodded in agreement with what she said. She also thought about their situation with Kaiser! Later, she will ask him what they have so that she does not fumble and find it difficult to explain to those who notice.

It may be too aggressive to look at and listen to but it is not good if they are just like this.

"Oh, I'll go ahead mommy is already calling me ... Ahm annoying! I am being bullied in the four corners of the office!" She said then stood up and before saying goodbye there was more to say. "What I am saying ah! Ask him!"

SHE ENDED all day signing the papers piled on her desk. But from time to time, papers are coming from various departments she needs to check, sign or approve. So she did not realize the time. It was nine o'clock in the evening. And she could barely move properly because she was too tired.

She fixes the belongings as her bodyguard enters. "Done?"

Shamia smiled at him. "Yeah! You didn't tell me the time?"

Kaiser approached her and went to the back then gently massaged her aching shoulder. "Why? can't I stop you from what you are doing, you just say it will reduce what you do tomorrow."

What he says was right. All the tasks in front of her need to be completed even at night. That will not be done in the future. So, new task when tomorrow arrives.

"Let's go home babe, so you can rest!"

Babe? She thought of asking him now while she still had the courage even though her body was tired.

"Kaiser? Hmm -"

"Yes babe?" he replied hugging her again and massaging her arms.

"W-what are we Kaiser? I mean, yes! We k-kiss, we hmm - hug, but I don't know what we have?" Shamia slipped into the man's embrace. "I know I'm too demanding but I don't enter into a relationship without certainty."

She seriously faced and stared at Kaiser but she immediately averted her eyes but Kaiser grabbed her chin to see her eyes.

"Shamia Gyllette! I am courting you!"

"H-huh?" Yeah! Every day he's giving her flowers, he's her natural bodyguard, but he's extra sweet unlike before when he was just civil in dealing. And he also cooks her food throughout the day, even the snack.

And that's the courtship he saying? That's his way of courting me? Yeah! It's indeed traditional but thrilling. I appreciated it!

"You don't notice that?" his eyes widened as he asked her in disbelief.

She laughed. "Honestly, yes!"

"The f**k!"

Her laughter grew louder. "Okay!"

"Okay?" Kaiser's forehead furrowed even more. Pissed! But after a while, he seemed to get what she meant. "Really?"

She picked up her things and walked out of the office because it was very late at night. "It's up to you!"

"Come on, Sham." He shouted and hurried to follow her. "Really?" He asks again.

"Yes!"

"Yes!" Kaiser shouted, immediately grabbed her, and then turned her around. Fortunately, there were no more people on the floor where they were.

"KAISER where are we going?" Shamia asked the man driving towards them she doesn't know where.

He smiled before answering. "At your house."

Huh? What will they do at the hacienda? "What are we going to do there?"

"We've been together for a week but you don't seem to have any plans to tell your family, so I'll tell them myself."

It's been a week since their relationship became official but she has not mentioned her family yet because she has been busy with the company. Kaiser said that he will return to the province next week and he will take her to introduce her to his family, so she's finishing a week's work early.

She had only once talked to his parents and siblings. And that was the morning after they became official. She immediately called his family in the province to inform their mediator but she said it would be better for her to get to know his family personally.

"I just got busy, didn't I?"

"Yes! You hardly notice me anymore."

Shamia laughed at what he said. When she enters the office, she immediately handles the papers piled up on her desk, as well as the ongoing productions of the magazines. She prefers to check the magazines she launches herself.

When the man brought her food, she could barely cover it.

"It's also for us Kai, so I don't have much work left when we return to your province."

His wrinkled forehead immediately disappeared, replaced by a big grin. "Wow! Excited!"

She was irritated by him teasing her, just in time her cell phone in the bag rang. Pia is the caller. She thought of recovering from the teasing when she was next to the car.

"Hello?"

"Mam, have you checked all your magazine samples? Because they say they need to be presented again on the board if it's okay then they will launch it immediately."

"What? But I have a vacation scheduled next week." That caught the man's attention.

"What?" he mouthed. She ignored it.

"Ah, it's okay Mam if you have a vacation next week, if you have already checked the sample, it can be presented tomorrow as well," Pia explained on the other line.

"Oh! Is it an emergency? Isn't it possible, maybe that business trip can be move next-next week?" She covered her mouth with her hand for more effect because the mixture on the man's face was no longer good.

"What business trip, Mam? You don't have a trip scheduled next week because you said you were going somewhere, right?" the person she was talking to on the other line was already confused. Sorry!

"Ah okay! Maybe I should cancel my vacation. Okay bye." She pretended to be sad. "I'll call you later for the details."

"You're a trouble." She then cut the line completely.

"What's up? Cancel our trip?"

"Yes!"

Kaiser did not speak, he just continued driving until they reached the hacienda.

THE guard immediately opened the gate for them when they saw the vehicle. They continued to enter the hacienda until in front of the villa.

Even before they could get down, the door of the mansion opened, and then her parents came out followed by her brother carrying his child.

She didn't go first, she said she needs to say goodbye to someone to call for a moment. They did not even ask her who she was going to call instead they approached Kaiser who was still frowning and looking badly at his girl. They invited the man to enter the house which was immediately welcomed by the latter.

Maybe her boyfriend is really upset because he doesn't leave her lightly because he is her bodyguard. But now he just left?

He immediately searched the cellphone and initialed the secretary's number. He answered immediately.

"What were you saying earlier, Mam?" Pia immediately asks her when she answers the call.

"It nothing. I am just pissing Kaiser off earlier but he left me here outside the house. " She explained, still laughing a bit.

"Ah! Is it over?"

"Yes, just take it from my table! Schedule a board meeting tomorrow."

"Okay, Mam. But u-uh,"

Why did my secretary stutter? "Why? Do you have a problem there?"

"I'm not in the office."

Her eyebrows rose because of what the woman said. Not in the office? It's just noon! She does not leave out of time.

"And where are you?"

"After you left, someone took me out, Mam. I never said goodbye again, sorry!"

She laughed. "It's okay! Enjoy your date. Just schedule the meeting for tomorrow, don't forget it because of your date. And one more thing you haven't introduced me to him."

"T-thank you, Mam. Enjoy, too."

Is she teasing me? "He left me, right?"

"Who told you that I left you? Even if the world collapses, I will just be here - I will not leave you."

She was surprised by the speaker in the background. Kaiser. The man is smirking as he watched Shamia. She then turned off the call without saying goodbye to the person she was talking to.
