Chapter Seven

After the stressful problem in Shamia's Magazine, Shamia immediately returned to the Philippines.

The culprit has been caught losing 100 million pesos to the company. The CFO of the company. It was investigated because he was the only one who could be a suspect. After all, he was the one holding the company's money. And it proved to be true.

And now they are on a private plane back to the Philippines.

After the problem, she decided to return immediately. Her secretary Pia Alvaro, on the other hand, stayed in LA because she needs to take care of so only Kaiser was with her on the plane. And the pilot and the private attendant.

She did not ask the woman what she's going to do and why she left because it was not her job. She gives privacy to her staff so that she can have it too.

Even before they had been in the air for a long time, Shamia immediately felt drowsy. Probably, because of handling the problem in the company.

She just woke up because of the action in front of her. She immediately opened her eyes only to find out her bodyguard so close to her.

She stared at his gentle face. Why is this man so handsome? Her heart sank as their eyes met, especially when he smiled at her.

"We're about to land." He said as he continued to fasten her seatbelt. He also immediately moves away when he's finished. Shamia chastised herself for feeling remorse for his action.

Shamia ignored the man until she got off the plane and got into the car that fetches them.

"Direct to the company." She spoke to the driver. She decided to go to the office because it was only noon when the plane landed in the Philippines so she thought of staying at the office. He immediately nodded without looking at her.

"In the mansion, Mang Ton-ton." He heard Kaiser's interject.

"Why ----"

"You have not been able to rest properly. You are going to SM tomorrow."

She just stared at him and did not argue anymore. She knew he wouldn't win over him. Shamia just closed her eyes until the car parked at the front door of the mansion.

She immediately went off the car and went to the room then hurriedly stretched out on the bed. Kaiser was right she couldn't rest properly because of the problem. So, today she will take a break, and tomorrow she will return to work.

SHAMIA doesn't know how many hours she has been sleeping when she heard voices in her room.

Manang Leny and Kaiser. Talking in a low voice but she still heard.

"She did not rest well there, Manang. She took care of the company's problems but she immediately decided to go home that's why she couldn't sleep for a long time. " He said while helping Manang unpack her belongings in the suitcase.

"That woman is really like that, Hijo, she doesn't listen to my advice even when her parents and brother are right, she said she can still and she will stop when she already can't," Manang explained then went to the bathroom to put her other belongings there. And when she returned, she continued talking. "That's good that woman is following you."

"Not following," Kaiser said with a smile. "I am requesting so that she oblige."

Manang laughed at what the other said. "When else was that stubborn girl brought to the plea? If you only knew."

Shamia was stunned by what Manang said. Tsk, do you need to tell that in front of him?

"Maybe someone is interfering with you so you can make her obey?"

She almost got up and shouted at Manang because of what she said, fortunately, she stopped herself because they will know that she's listening to their conversation.

She opened her right eye slightly to see the two talking inside her room. Manang returns the clothes she didn't use to the cabinet while Kaiser puts the others in the basket of dirty clothes.

"What son? My suspicion is real, right? " Manang is still scratching him.

"Huh? Ah, we are not allowed to fall in love with our clients."

Is she's the one or does she just have a feeling of regret in the man's voice?

"If you love her, you will fight for her, nothing can stop you. But if you can't fight for what you've felt, just avoid it, right now. "

"I don't know what to say, Manang."

"Kaiser Hijo, I am just giving advice. If you want to take care of my daughter," She said then laughed while Kaiser did not react.

"Come on, I'll wash Shamia's dirty clothes," Manang said dismissing the conversation.

Shamia felt as if someone is around. And when she was sure that the presence of the two was no longer in her room, she slowly opened her eyes and then got up but was also able to return to bed when she saw Kaiser at the foot of her bed.

"I thought you came out already?" she then simply overtook the comforter to cover her body up to her head.

"I know you're awake so I've decided to wait for you. I also know that you are listening to our conversation with Manang. "

She quickly lowered the comforter to see Kaiser and she saw him grinning from ear to ear.

"I'm not listening to your conversation!" Shamia refused.

"Oh, okay. I believe you. " He joke. But just teasing her.

"I will kick you! Get out! " he scolded the young man who smiled at him.

"Get up, Shamia Gyllette!" Kaiser added and pulled her comforter and remove its covering on her body.

"Son of a---"

"Wake up, Dear Princess."

Irritated. She looked at him which is grinning at the foot of her bed.

"I'm going to hit you Kaiser Pineda!" She shouted at the man causing him to release the comforter. "Out!!"

"Yes… here it is! I am going out now. " Kaiser said, still teasing her before leaving the room.

When the man came out, she just got up to do her morning routine. She then fixes her bed and then went to the bathroom and took a shower.

When she finished, she just chose a simple white t-shirt and denim shorts. Then she came out because there was another knock on the door of her room.

She opened the door while wiping her wet hair. "Yes?"

"Oh?"

"What do you want again?" She asks Kaiser when she opened the bedroom door.

"Ah, Manang is calling you for dinner."

"Wait a minute," Shee says. He nodded once then left.

Shamia continued drying her hair then left the room and went to the kitchen. There she caught up with Manang who was arranging the food on the table.

"Eat Hija, you didn't eat lunch before so I cooked early so that you can eat," she said, and then she pulled a chair for her.

"Come, eat with me, Manang." Shamia invited the old lady. "Call ---"

"Kaiser… Yes, I know! Wait a minute and I'll go back. " She cuts what she has to say.

Her forehead furrowed at what the old lady had said. What does she already know? She would have said to call the other housemates to eat with her. But Manang misinterpreted what she's going to say.

She was shaken when the old lady came followed by her bodyguard wearing a plain black shirt and black jogging pants.

"Already here." Manang seems to be teasing.

"Where are the other Manang Leny?"

Manang seemed to get what she meant. "They are already there, I called them too. I know you will not eat without them."

Shamia smiled at the old lady then started eating. She was about to reach for the tray of rice when someone picks it first, Kaiser, and surprisingly he put rice on her plate. He did the same with the dish.

That gesture did not escape the eyes of their companions at the dinner table so they were the center of the teasing. She sneezed to keep the table quiet.

She resumed eating. Shamia accidentally looked up at the man in front of her. She found that he was also looking at her.

The two of them met their eyes, Shamia was about to take her eyes off the man when he smiled and even winked at her that's why she almost fell off from the chair.
