Sofia did not like the idea of Ava having to go upstairs just to call her for her dinner appointment with Jonathon. She was not some child who needed assistance and if Jonathon thought she was just somebody he could push around, he had another thing coming!
However, Sofia had vowed to her self that she was going to be on her best behavior because this was business and it was her job as secretary to do what her "boss" ordered her to do.
She recalled his early letter and smiled a little when she remembered how he said that Mr. Garcia did not tolerate ugliness. She was sorely tempted to dress poorly but again, her pride and professionalism won out.
She chose her outfit carefully and did her make up as impeccab
