Delnard watched as Sofia talked as animatedly as she wanted but he was not fooled. Something had changed in her. He had been back in Raleigh almost 3 weeks and they have gone out at least four times. At first, he was not sure whether she was just coming down with something or worse, she had changed how she felt about him.
He shook his head. He was getting way ahead of himself. Sofia never actually declared any feelings for him but it was not difficult on Delnard's part to wish that she had or assume that she did.
