“I don’t want to send them away, Alex. You… you know that I can’t live with her.” Theo said to me in a choked tone. Yeah…. My beta was crying like an abandoned pup in front of me. “But this is for their safety, brother. Our pack is not safe anymore, and you know this,” I tried to comforted him in a gentle tone while stroking his back.
He was sitting on the chair while was leaning on the edge of the table. “How did this happen, Alex? Why didn’t we notice this?” he asked me in the same tone, but I could feel his helplessness. He was still lucky enough that his mate and his pups were still alive when I lost them even before my pup took birth.
