Chapter 5 Welcome Home

Eva's POV.

I held back my scream and rushed downstairs to meet him.

When I got to him my hands ran through his body.

"Blood" I shivered in fear.

"It's not my blood" Alpha Trent replied and I heaved a sigh of relief.

"Then whose blood is it?" I inquired curiously and placed my hands on his firm chest.

"It was the blood of one of my warriors but everything is fine now" Alpha Trent said to me.

I had a lot of questions to ask him and also a lot of words to tell him. My eyes signaled him to follow me upstairs.

I think he understood my body language and he followed me leaving Beta Kyle downstairs.

I grasped my hand around his but it hardly enveloped half of his hand, he was not just taller than me but muscular.

I recalled the day we kissed, it was actually today. It seemed like more than a day with all the events that had been occurring.

I dragged him to my room and he was a bit surprised when we stepped in.

"I was so scared" I hugged him and my voice quivered.

I was extremely frightened by the fact that Liam was after him because no one knew Liam better than I did.

"I am fine, nothing happened to me" Alpha Trent replied and wrapped his arms around me. It felt perfect and soothing to have him close to me.

"I was suffocated in here, waiting for you to return and many crazy thoughts ran through my mind and…" I trailed off.

"And nothing, baby. I am absolutely healthy and safe, you shouldn't be frightened because I will never leave you or permit anything to separate us" He muttered and gently parted the hug.

I lifted up my gaze to stare at me and my hands cupped his face that was slightly drained with blood. I can't be more happy to be mated to this handsome man before me.

I kissed his lips deeply, pressing my lips against his dry but soft lips. He grabbed my waist into his arms, pulling me closer to him.

He deepened the kiss and gave him access to my mouth. I needed to taste every bit of him which was too addictive and sumptuous to ignore.

His taste melted into my mouth and his tongue hotly roamed around my mouth, curling my tongue. The tip of his tongue reaching to my throat making me choke back a moan.

He pulled away from the kiss, leaving me yearning. I wanted him to kiss the breath out of me and put his lips somewhere else too.

He suddenly cupped my cheeks in his palms and kissed my forehead. My mouth parted into a little moan.

"No one is going to take you away from me, I repeat no one" Alpha Trent smiled.

He pressed his lips against mine again and this time, I gripped his neck making tongue way to my throat and back, he massaged my slim waist softly in with his hands.

It was like his response to the kiss, his arms soon enveloped me and the kiss intensified and became more passionate than ever, exchanging each other's sweetness.

His lips sucked on mine and he even laid little bites on it. His kiss with me wasn't my first but it was the best I had ever experienced.

My previously shut eyes opened to see his eyes shut. He was relishing my lips.

My cheeks turned red and I closed my eyes enjoying his addictive taste and inhaling his perfect scent that was a bit altered by the scent of blood.

After a few minutes of kissing, we parted the kiss at the same time;gasping for air. His lips were a bit red and I could feel that mine was slightly swollen.

"You taste so good like delicious grapes and strawberries" He muttered, there was much passion in his voice.

My mouth parted and he had his entrance again into my mouth, it was short but wild.

"And you taste better" I said with a little moan.

"Your new room looks great, I hope you love the pink color?" Alpha Trent asked while gawking around the room.

The color wasn't my favorite but I had no hate against the color.

"It's not my favorite color but I love it anyways and the room too" I said honestly.

"If you have any problem with the room, you can request for changes" He commented.

I loved that his hands were still wrapped around me. It made my wolf and I elated.

"It's all my fault that Liam came to confront your pack" I said sadly and lowered my gaze.

He raised my chin up and muttered. “You aren't at fault and if he wants you then he should kiss the dust first before thinking of laying his filthy hands on you”

This wasn't him talking but his wolf, his voice had changed and his eyes too.

"Alpha" I called softly and rubbed my hands on his arms.

He sighed and relaxed a bit.

"He would never be coming back to trouble you, that I was sure about” Alpha Trent said confidently and took me to the bed.

He sat down first on the bed then made me sit on his lap. He pulled me close in a way that my butt felt his c**k.

A breathless moan escaped my lips but I controlled my wolf.

I was still curious about the agreement they must have made because Liam would never leave or succumb without a fight.

" You might be thinking that we made a bargain but we didn't. Liam is nothing but a lousy coward, the minute he saw my warriors" Alpha Trent talked lowly of him and chuckled.

"He saw my warriors and chickened out but unfortunately he had killed one of our warriors and I'm a bit unhappy about that" He stated in an unhappy manner.

"I'm sorry" I apologized.

It didn't matter if Liam was a bastard for searching for him but it was still very much my fault. They lost a warrior because of me.

I wished that the gentle and resilient soul of the warrior rested in peace.

"it happens and that's just the duty of service"

"Unfortunately I have to leave for the meeting I wanted to attend before;it had been delayed enough," Alpha Trent smiled.

"Alright, be safe" I plastered a little kiss on his lips.

I perched my butt on the bed and he stood up.

"Bye" He pecked my forehead and walked towards the door.

He glanced briefly at me before leaving, his gestures made my heart flutter.

"Thank you moon goddess, he is safe" I sighed in relief.

After an hour or two, Beta Kyle met me and we both strode to the garden. I sighted Serena staring at us from her window but I didn't care.

I sat in a way that she would only see my back and nothing more.

"I am so relieved that Alpha Trent is out of the woods but can you give me details about what transpired between Liam and Alpha Trent" I inquired.

"I won't tell you" He stuck out his tongue at me.

"Quit being silly and spill the beans!" I playfully smacked his lap and he giggled.

"I would love to tell you Eva but Alpha Trent instructed us to keep quiet about it, it's top secret" Beta Kyle mouthed.

I hissed and turned my face away from him like I was extremely angrily at him.

"Don't be angry with me, I am only following the instructions and directives of my Alpha;you don't want to see Trent angry" Beta Kyle said with a funny angered look on his face.

He was imitating the face that Alpha Trent would make. I stifled the laughter that threatened to escape my throat.
