Chapter 6 Two Years Later

Eva's POV..

I was stunned by her threat, I never expected her to threaten me with such a thing but the question was how did she know about Liam's search for me.

Had she been spying on me all this while?.

I swallowed the hard lump in my throat and beads of sweat formed on my head. I narrowly escaped Liam with the help of Alpha Trent but now this.

"Are you surprised by the fact that I am aware of your rubbish ex lover?" Serena yelled while squeezing my arm.

It was like she was going to crush my bones in rage, I held back a cry that threatened to escape my lips.

"I know everything about your past and if you keep flirting with my brother and Beta Kyle then be ready to meet your waterloo" Serena sneered, there was hate and confusing anger in her eyes.

"I haven't done anything wrong to you and you can't scare me" I muttered with trembling lips.

"Is that what you think?" She smiled, her smile was crooked and one from a horror scene.

"I don't care about your threats, you should be the one threatened by me because just one word from me and your brother will not take this useless and abusive attitude of yours" I fired back.

"You might think that you are the only one that has set your cards right and have the ball in your court but you are mistaken, Serena" I spouted and moved my face closer to hers.

I brought forth my free hand and showed it to her.

"I have your brother in the palm of my hands and one word from me, darling;I promise that you would be spending the rest of your nights in confinement" I sneered.

Those words were mere threats but desperate times called for desperate measures.

"Are you ready for that, little Serena?" I laughed sarcastically.

She was perplexed and equally shocked even I was shaken by my own words.

"You can't do anything"

"I not only have the support of your brother but also if Beta Kyle" the mention of Beta Kyle's name seemed to anger her but I didn't understand why.

"You have just your worst enemy, you better be ready for what's coming your way" Serena grimaced.

"We shall see who has the last laugh" She added and released my arm.

She threw the chocolate bar on the floor and stormed out of the kitchen.

I released the breath I had been holding. I checked my arm and her fingerprints were on it.

"I really need some tranquility, why can't I ever have a little peace. Please have pity on me" I murmured.

I was fed up with her incessant and continuous bullying. I simply needed a little happiness and problem free life with my mate.

Must there be an unnecessary obstacle!

She hated me for nothing because I had not done anything to provoke her to such anger and disdain.

I sighed and went back to my room but sleep was far away from my eyes..

I woke up and sluggishly went to the bathroom. I hardly slept throughout the night.

I had my bath and changed into a gray coloured trouser and wine coloured shirt. I packed my hair into two.

It made me look extremely childish with how I rolled them up but it made me look really cute. I stared at my reflection in the mirror and I liked every bit of what I saw.

The wounds on my body had completely healed like magic. There was not a single scar left; meeting my mate was working magic on me.

The only defect were the black spots under my eyes but apart from that, I was good.

I smiled and wore my slippers. I left my room and headed to the kitchen.

I bumped into something hard and fell back with force.

"Ouch" I groaned while rubbing my forehead.

Alpha Trent turned to me and he gasped.

"I'm sorry" He apologized and helped me up.

"Are you alright?"

I wriggled myself from his grip and asserted my wellness.

"Do you still have pains anywhere?Should I call Romeo, I mean the doctor?" He said.

"No, I'm fine" I shook my head in disapproval.

He touched my cheek but I slightly moved away from him. He placed his hand on my hair next.

"You look like a baby" Alpha chuckled but I hardly smiled; “Is there something wrong?, did I wrong you in any way?”

I continued staring down at my little feet; I had to avoid him for a while because arousing more suspicions could consequently cause us more harm than good.

Alpha Trent raised up my chin and placed his thumb on my lips. My body stiffened but I managed to step back.

"I'm hungry, I will go get some breakfast. '' I lied and walked away from him.

"Are you ashamed of my family seeing us together?" He asked in a disappointed tone.

"No, I only want to be cautious" I replied and walked away from there.

I ate and decided to look around the pack house, some parts of the house were still confusing.

I reached the garden and met Yolanda watering the grasses and talking to one of the guards around. He kissed her on the lips and I was shocked.

I hid behind a pillar and watched them. They kissed for a few minutes and the guard looked around.

Right there, they began kissing more erotically and he raised her gown;in a matter of minutes she threw her head backwards and her moan penetrated into my ears.

It was quite a distant moan but I heard it so loudly;my wolf senses have seemed to improve since I got here.

Her moans grew louder and after a while they stopped and he kissed her goodbye. This was so immature of them.

I sneaked up to Yolanda and scared her.

"Ah!!!" She screamed and bathed me accidentally with the hose in her hand..

I gasped and she stopped.

"Why would you scare me like that?Eva!" She scolded and went to turn off the water.

"I'm not sorry because I just caught you kissing and moaning in the midst of performing your duties, that's so irresponsible"

Yolanda rolled her eyes at me; “I need to have some fun"

“You are so naughty but I guess you are right, a little fun won't hurt but are you in love with him? "

"No but I like the way he makes me feel. He knows how to f**k really well" Yolanda muttered and moaned in between.

I wiped off the water from my face and laughed.

"You are so blunt" I chuckled at her.

"I used to be lonely and pass through my heat alone but later I learnt that it was not a sin to have s*x with another werewolf and satisfy my urge" Yolanda smiled.

"You are correct about that, your mate in heaven would not be happy to find you wallowing in pain and suffering. I am sure he would want you to be happy and even find another love if it was possible"I said.

" I can only love one person and that's Salvador" She muttered, sadly.

"Let's stop talking about me, how are you and Alpha Trent?" She questioned.that was a topic that i was not willing to discuss with anyone.

"We are good"

"I'm happy for you, Luna," Yolanda teased.

"Have you heard of the visitation of the Alpha of the Crescent pack?" Yolanda asked and narrowed her gaze at me.

I shook my head in confusion.

"There is going to be a lot of preparation later but I heard he is one of the worst and wicked Alphas" Yolanda whispered like a gossip.

"Oh really?"

"Yes and I don't think you are too safe since you are still unmarked" Yolanda muttered and moved closer to me.

"What do you mean?" I asked, curiously.

"it means that Alpha Seth is a playboy and also a ruthless and heartless s*x master"

"Yolanda!"

"I am not lying, one of the maids here became his slave and it was horrible. I wonder why he had to come here" Yolanda's lips curved downwards into a frown.

"But that doesn't mean that I'm in danger"

" I have heard he loves all girls who have brown hair," Yolanda whispered.

I touched my own hair and unfortunately it was brown.
