Chapter 20 Attacking the L...

Eva's POV.

"Can I suck your c**k?" I asked and he was shocked by my request.

His expression was pretty hilarious. He shouldn't judge a book by its covers or be fooled by an innocent face.

"Where did you learn to do that?" Alpha Trent with so much surprise on his face.

"I still blame myself for not arriving any sooner into your life and preventing those awful people from hurting you. You deserve better than anyone else, Eva" Alpha Trent sighed.

"The day I set my eyes on Liam, I swear that I would kill him" Alpha Trent sneered and his eyes darkened with anger.

I wanted to tell him about the partnership between Alpha Seth and Liam but I decided to conceal it. Alpha Trent was enraged and injured, it wouldn't be wise for him to start a war against Liam.

I had allowed Liam to take almost all the good things in my life away but I won't permit taking Alpha Trent away from me. He was my only will to live.

I doubted that he would do anything wise after he heard of the fate of his partner.

"You don't have to stain your hands with the blood of a pathetic fool like Liam, he isn't worth your strength or time" I smiled and stole a kiss from his lips.

"So may I resume from where I stopped?" I asked sheepishly and he grinned.

"You didn't have to risk your life for me" I shook my head in disapproval of his decision.

"I did it because that's what mates do for each other, we sacrifice our lives for one another. I could not picture myself mourning over you or imagine not seeing you ever again" He replied and transferred his hands to my waist.

"But weren't you thinking about your people? Your mother who loved you so much and would probably die of grief, if she heard of your death. Weren't you worried about your father and sister who would mourn over you?, weren't you worried about Beta Kyle and the rest of your pack members who would be exposed to attacks because of your death?” I threw questions at him.

"Those questions never occurred to me at that time, I was only concerned about saving the life of the one that meant the world to me. That most important person in my life is you, "he replied.

My eyes became moist with tears.

"I don't care if I have to say it a thousand times but you are the most important thing in my life, I can't live without you and I won't ever get exhausted from repeating those words each day of my life” Alpha Trent said and took my hand.

He placed my hand on his chest, specifically on his heart.

"Do you hear it?" Alpha Trent asked.

I could only hear his heartbeat and nothing other than that.

" You heartbeat” I replied with a smile.

"My heart beats for only you and that's why I would sacrifice my life for you, the moment you die, I will die too" He added, there was so much emotion in his voice.

Tears dropped from my eyes and kissed him deeply on his lips. He wiped my tears away and pulled me much closer.

I climbed on the bed and spread my legs apart.
