The room was still tense, the air thick with unspoken threats.
Kai had stormed off, leaving just me and Adrian standing there, still bristling from our argument. Adrian exhaled, rubbing the back of his neck.
"It doesn’t have to be this complicated," he muttered. "We can figure this out without tearing each other apart."
He was the one always mature toward everything although the reason we fought was him himself.
Yes, I should admit it though. But however, I still felt annoyed with him.
The way he kissed her in the library still lingers on my head. It kept spinning around as mocking me because I couldn't kiss Lena the way he did or Kai did.
Damn it! Just thinking about it made my anger grow even more.
